Estate Control™
Ongoing Estate Stewardship™
Protecting Your Estate Long After Implementation
Completing your estate plan is a major milestone, but implementation is only the beginning.
Your wealth, family and circumstances will continue to evolve over time, and the structures we create today should evolve with them.
Estate Control™ is our ongoing stewardship service, designed to help ensure your estate remains organised, coordinated and aligned with your long-term objectives long after implementation has been completed.

Unlike many professional firms, our relationship does not necessarily end once the implementation work is complete.
Throughout the process we gain a detailed understanding of your estate, your family and the objectives behind every important decision.
That knowledge means that, should your circumstances change in the future, you can return to someone who already understands your estate rather than starting again with a new adviser.
For many clients, that continuity provides reassurance not only for themselves, but also for their family.

Once your estate has been fully implemented, many of our clients choose to retain us on an ongoing basis through Estate Control™.

Estate planning is not a one-off event. Your wealth, family circumstances, assets and the law will continue to evolve over time. Estate Control™ is designed to help ensure that the planning we have implemented continues to remain appropriate as those changes occur.

Estate Control™ is available from £2,500 per annum and is offered exclusively to clients who have completed an Estate Architect™ implementation programme.

This exclusivity is intentional. Before providing ongoing stewardship, we first need to be confident that your estate has been properly structured, coordinated and documented to the standards required by Estate Architect™. Only then can we effectively monitor, review and maintain your estate on an ongoing basis.

For clients who have not completed an Estate Architect™ implementation programme, we are unable to provide Estate Control™ as a standalone review or annual support service. This is because we cannot assume responsibility for monitoring or maintaining an estate that has not first been fully assessed, coordinated and implemented under our framework.
Why Estate Control™ Matters
Even the best estate plan can become less effective if it is not reviewed from time to time.
Properties are bought and sold, businesses evolve, investments change, family circumstances shift and legislation is continually updated.
Left unchecked, these changes can gradually reduce the effectiveness of your planning or leave important information incomplete.
Estate Control™ helps ensure your estate continues to reflect your circumstances as your life evolves.
What We Do
Throughout your membership, we continue to review your estate to help ensure your planning remains aligned with your objectives as your wealth, family circumstances and legislation evolve.
Depending upon your circumstances, this may include:

A comprehensive annual review of your estate and the planning structures that have been implemented.

Reviewing significant legislative or taxation changes that may affect your estate planning.

Reviewing significant changes such as property purchases, inheritances, business sales, marriages, divorces or births to determine whether your planning should be updated.

Reviewing the planning structures already implemented to help ensure they continue to operate as intended.

Liaising with your solicitor, accountant and other professional advisers, where appropriate, to help ensure your estate planning remains coordinated.

Priority access for estate-related queries throughout your membership.

More Than a Review
Estate Control™ is not simply an annual meeting.
It is a structured verification process designed to help ensure nothing important has been overlooked.
We review significant changes, update estate records, coordinate with your professional advisers where appropriate and help maintain an organised, probate-ready estate.
The objective is simple:
when your family eventually needs this information, it is already there.
Estate planning is ultimately about people, not paperwork.
Where appropriate, Estate Control™ can include family meetings, executor briefings and beneficiary discussions, helping ensure the people responsible for carrying out your wishes understand both their responsibilities and where to find the information they need.
What You'll Receive

Depending on your circumstances, Estate Control™ may include:
Estate Completeness Review™ – Confirmation that every significant asset and planning arrangement has been incorporated into your estate records.
Asset Verification Register™ – A consolidated register of your principal assets and supporting documentation.
Lifetime Gift Verification™ – A review of significant lifetime gifts and supporting records.
Valuation Verification Register™ – Verification that appropriate valuation evidence has been retained for significant assets.
Estate Documentation Review™ – A review of your existing estate planning documents to help identify omissions or inconsistencies.
Estate Verification Certificate™ – Confirmation that your estate has completed the Estate Control™ verification process.

Flexible Ongoing Support
Following implementation, clients can either continue with Estate Control™ through an ongoing stewardship arrangement or simply return whenever significant life events occur.
Because we already understand your estate, future reviews are typically more efficient and focused.
Creating your estate plan completes most of the work. Estate Control™ is about preserving it.
It provides confidence that your estate continues to reflect your circumstances, remains organised for your family and evolves alongside your life for years to come.
