A specialist partner for complex Inheritance Tax strategy and co-ordination
Many private client matters reach a point where a Will alone is no longer enough.
Clients may come to you for help with their Will, yet still face a substantial Inheritance Tax exposure, driven by pensions, property, and accumulated assets that sit outside any coherent IHT strategy.
We work alongside private client solicitors to help strategise and co-ordinate IHT planning for complex estates, ensuring that recommendations are not only sound, but actually implemented.
The gap we are brought in to address
In many cases, the issue is not the quality of advice, but fragmentation.
Clients often have:

What is missing is one party responsible for stepping back, looking across the entire estate, and ensuring everything works together.
This is where we add value.
What we do
Our role is strategic and co-ordinative. We do not replace you, and we do not compete for your client relationship.
In practice we:
Review the client’s estate holistically
Design an overall IHT
strategy
Manage the project - start to finish
Identify IHT structural weaknesses
Co-ordinate advisers and specialists
Reduce tax through proper structure
Projects typically take 6 to 9 months, reflecting the complexity and sensitivity of the work.
The type of client this is suited to
We are typically engaged where clients:
£2m+ Estates
Have estates of £2 million or more
IHT Exposure
Are facing a material IHT liability
Pension Wealth

Complex Assets
Own property and multiple asset classes
Later Life

All-in-One Solution

Professional Introducer (PI) Arrangement

We work with a small number of trusted solicitors under a Professional Introducer (PI) arrangement on complex inheritance tax planning matters for private clients.
Where an introduction results in a completed IHT engagement, the arrangement is documented in advance, fully disclosed to the client, and payment is made within seven days of client invoice settlement.
An introducer fee is fixed (typically £2,500 per completed engagement), is paid by us, and does not increase or otherwise affect the client’s agreed fee. It has no impact on your advice, independence, or client billing.
In many cases, we are also likely to require ongoing legal input. Any such work would be instructed separately and billed directly by you to the client in the normal course.
